I do best when kept with other Tiger Barbs in a shoal of at least six; this permits a hierarchy and stops me from becoming
aggressive and nippy.
Fish with longer fins are too much of a temptation and I might nip them. I do get on well with Dwarf Gourami if my aquarium is large enough.
